Why Ai & How I Ai
Written by Carl Foisy
Gotta start by confirming that I (Carl Foisy) write all of the material for MarketingByTheC.com (MbtC). No matter if you’re reading content on one of our service pages, or if you’re reading one of these juicy articles, it was intentionally thought-of and typed-out by yours truly. I felt the need to start the article about Ai with this small yet important disclosure, considering the current hi-tech options for having sophisticated robots create content in a jiffy. As of today, and with the means for which I want to share thoughts and stories, I will continue to hammer away at the keys in my efforts to produce good, rich, meaningful, and (most importantly) human made content. And since content is still King, we’re gonna do our part to contribute and publish quality, unique content.
Why and how I use Ai are two fun topics. For MbtC, why we use Ai is simple, because we’ve always believed in staying relevant and on the bleeding edge of new tech, especially in the creative, marketing and problem solving sectors. For example, we started creating Virtual Spaces for Real Places with Virtualocity in Nov 2022 because it’s new, cutting edge, fun, and digital. Another big reason is its cost effectiveness. Time is Money, and Ai gives us quick concepts that help drive a quicker turnaround on projects. Beyond these fundamentals, we also use Ai to help stimulate ideas for new creatives, to offer guidance for program suggestions, and even to help remind us that we’re human. While the option to have a robot create readable content very quickly is available, we’ve found that it can take an average of 30-45 minutes to write a good quality article from start to finish. Working with so many different businesses, we rely on the owners (as industry leaders) to help us tell their stories accurately, so we choose to develop meaningful content made by humans. On the other hand, having an artist robot create some unique one-time use social media graphics saves hours of time. So everything from using Ai robots for artwork, to asking a chatbot for business advice, MbtC uses Ai as a tool, not as a solution.
