We originally met the owner of Downtown Yoga Shala when they opened for business in Downtown San Jose’s SoFA District in 2009, and have been a supporter ever since. While we’ve done some small jobs here and there for our longtime business friend, more recently Marketing by the C was hired to help in re-opening their doors to a new yoga shala, still in SoFA District just a couple blocks away.

Leveraging our talents for marketing and promotions, we’re proud to say the Downtown Yoga Shala’s Grand Opening in Aug 2023 was a stellar way to beginning it’s second life in a newly constructed location on the ground floor of a residential apartment building. While it was not easy to weather the pandemic storm for this small yoga studio, we’re hoping they would’ve taken our encouragement, guidance and expertise seriously enough to sustain and thrive. Beyond providing some web, photo, and marketing guidance, we sat shotgun thru two different CRM system integrations and set-ups. DYS ownership originally trusted a young new company that eventually could not deliver, to then choosing and integrating to the industry leader MindBody for their mature tech and support. While we can show the route to success, if business owners don’t take our direction, they’re sure to get lost. DYS’s success remains in the hands of the ownership.
