Destinationalizing Orale Baja

In early 2024 we received a call from Orale Baja in Campbell for help with marketing in general. Within a short time, we recognized areas for improvements to their digital footprint (web, social, directory, etc), and some opportunities they had at the restaurant location itself. Being that the owner was equally as pumped about their craft beer offerings as he was about their homemade food, and since they had a nice location in Campbell with a patio, we decided to Destinationalize their patio and make it a ‘Baja Beer Garden’. It was an obvious solution and idea that would put Orale Baja on the map as a place to enjoy delicious food AND tasty brews. Our timing was also perfectly in sync with Cinco de Mayo, so we planned a Grand Opening party to celebrate the opening of the Baja Beer Garden, and the community showed up to support. The event was active with raffle prizes, special tastings, live entertainment, fun facts about Orale Baja, and a ceremonial unveiling of a newly hand-painted ‘Baja Beer Garden’ sign with some help from Campbell’s Mayor’s office.
While MbtC may be the creator of the word ‘Destinationalize’ it’s indeed what we did by creating a beer destination to an average patio…..we destinationalized it. Creating this space and vibe is just one spoke on the business improvement wheel we’re aligning for Orale Baja.
