When we first met with MOAA’s group in Silicon Valley, it was clear the organization needed our help. With several different website and digital identities on the internet, we quickly identified where they needed help. Besides having trouble connecting with a disgruntled and unwilling to help legacy domain owner, we were still successful in reusing and refining all important website materials, functionality and content. The before and after of the website project is eye-opening, and has indeed launched this long-running military officers association into the current orbit of what to expect from a website. Along the journey, other organization members tried to take a stab at managing and altering their website, claiming to be a ‘web guy’ and actually not being one at all. Our company provided several tutorials and hand-holding meetings to instruct their members on how to use the website. Fortunately they loved the white-glove style training services, as much as the as-needed on-call support post tutorials. This had its effects and set-backs, but MbtC was able to right their ship’s course quickly and continued to provide top-notch service, even while working under past-due billing conditions.
